The YouTube channel’s name is “Apple WWDC Videos,” and its creator, Brendan Shanks, tweeted that Apple had made a series of copyright takedown requests for his channel, which eventually led to its shutdown, which included several hundreds of WWDC videos from 20 years ago, including those introducing Mac OS X, Darwin, Aqua, and WebObjects.
Due to multiple violations, not only was its video removed, but Shanks’ YouTube channel was also disabled. Shanks also lost his personal YouTube account, as well as the YouTube TV he just paid for.
