OnePlus already offers a bunch of personalization options for its devices so that users can make their phones as informative and beautiful as they want. But it looks like, OnePlus OxygenOS 14 will stretch new customizations to the lock screen section as well.
According to the famous Android analyst, @MishaalRahman, Android 14 DP 2 shows some new features and customizations for the lock screen, and probably we could find these tweaks for the OnePlus devices with OxygenOS 14 too.

Initially, the list of additions includes a toggle that can enable/ disable the appearance of the weather icon on the lock screen. If the Nord developer brings this element to OxygenOS 14, users can access it in Settings > Display > Lock Screen.

Another pinch is the clock customization. Yes! You can eventually choose an appropriate size from the alternatives: dynamic and small. So far, we have surfaced many OnePlus users reporting clock issues with OOS 13. However, a solution may arrive with the 14th version.
On the flip side, users can also find a new way to tackle the number of notifications emerging on the lock screen. Consequently, the Android 14 DP 2 shows an option “Show only new notifications on lock screen”.
When enabled, the feature will remove the existing notifications from the lock screen, every time a user will unlock the device.
Last but not the least, Android 14 DP 2 has a hidden “font-size” Quick Setting tile. As the name suggests, this feature will let you quickly change the font scaling without going to Settings.
Perhaps, the font-related feature could be a blessing for users who have been demanding the old text styles with OxygenOS 14. Although these features have appeared in the developer preview and require some more info on their confirmation.

Up to this point, we have been waiting for features that can highlight the lock screen of the OnePlus devices. Finally, it looks like OxygenOS 14 could do the same thing. If these add-ons will make their way to OOS 14 then, we could consider that OnePlus is back on track.
