The Chinese tech maker did not specify if the commitment to release four major software updates and security updates for five years is for models in the premium line. Or it would extend to the entry level like Nord series. However, the company will soon make us aware of this.
As the device is going to be introduced in the year 2023, hence we can expect that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 could be eligible to receive four major Android/OxygenOS updates and five years of security updates. Notably, this is only the expectation company has not confirmed anything so far.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is the company’s upcoming phone in the Nord line that will replace the Nord CE 2 and have improved hardware and design. Yesterday, we came to know about its design through the renders that show totally different design than its predecessor and parallel to OnePlus X.
The renders are shown in a glossy Black color, and the rear side comprises two large camera modules, the top one housing a single sensor and the lower one housing two lenses. The LED flash can be seen sitting on the right of the camera island, whereas the OnePlus logo is positioned in the middle of the back panel.
