2022 wasn’t good year for OnePlus smartphones, but 2023 could be better
OnePlus is a well-known tech maker in the world of technology. The firm has provided some of the best hardware and software products to date. Yet, if we look back then 2022 wasn’t a good year for the company. Whether we lift the gadget matter or the OxygenOS 13, there was some terrible experience. but it looks like the OnePlus smartphones will make a better comeback in 2023.
Let’s begin this story with the onset of 2022. The Chinese manufacturer was sending the OxygenOS 12.1 updates to its devices at that time. While the OnePlus 10 series was in rumors to set its legs on the user platform alongside. Things were quite good till the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone. But thereafter, the company unknowingly took a negative turn.

Suddenly, OnePlus started lagging in update distribution among its devices. To cover these things to an extent, the company aligned the high-end OxygenOS 13 software upgrade in the queue. No doubt, the dynamic operating system appeared with a variety of eye-catching features and functions for the devices. Yet, the update doesn’t meet the expectations of users much.
Even at present, there are a few OnePlus phone holders that are dealing with some or the other issue after OxygenOS 13 installation. Meanwhile, the slowdown in the update circulation remains the same. And we still don’t know what decision the company will take for the OnePlus 7 series. “Will they get security updates anymore?” is a leading question.
2023 – a better comeback for OnePlus smartphones!
However, these troubles may be due to the development hacks of the OnePlus 11. Till now, the tech maker has shown many technologies that can make its upcoming gadget – a powerful flagship in the smartphone market. Moreover, it is bringing back the key feature – Alert Slider which remained the most favorite element in OnePlus handsets for users.
On the greener side, the manufacturer is hammering its hands on the next software version – OxygenOS 13.1 which is expected to bring thoughtful and beneficial changes over previous upgrades. Thus, we could assume that OnePlus will make a blasting comeback in 2023.
But to make it the “best”, OnePlus need to look back and make some useful improvements to those issues that are still in continuation. Only then, things will make an appropriate fit in the box.
