Samsung and Apple losing their spark in design, let’s hope OnePlus won’t follow suit

Posted on

Samsung and Apple count as world-class smartphone vendors and why not, the companies have served some of the best and most innovative handsets in the market. But in recent years, both Samsung and Apple have started losing their spark in the design game, and we hope that OnePlus won’t follow the same suit.

Exploring the inputs and some past few inventions, we found that Samsung began to copy the same outlook for every one of its devices. For instance, the company has just copied and pasted the Galaxy S22 Ultra and edited a few tweaks to form the S23 Ultra model.

The same case is with the Galaxy A series including the A34, A54, and A14, which looks quite similar to the standard S23 model. That’s not it! Even the rumored Galaxy S24 Ultra flaunts the same layout as the S23 and S22, depicting that the South Korean tech maker is following Apple’s way to copy and paste its new models, just like iPhones.

Turning our attention to Apple, the American manufacturer has changed the material with the latest iPhone 15 series – Titanium. However, there are no shifts or modifications in the appearance of the handset. Unfortunately, it seems as if we are having some more iPhone 14 models, now in different colors.

Dear OnePlus, don’t follow the same suit!

Unlike Samsung and Apple, OnePlus still gives unique changes and tries to differentiate design aspects between flagships and mid-rangers. Although, the OnePlus 12 looks quite identical to the 11th series and that’s where the concerns arise.

It is worth noting that the first-ever foldable from the brand appears amazing in terms of look and shows a bit of uniqueness over Galaxy Z Fold handsets. But yes, it would be better if the company continues to seek new changes, without falling into the pale design trap like Apple and Samsung.
