Amazon released a Prime Video app for Mac

Amazon launched a native macOS application for the Amazon Prime Video service, which is now available on the Mac App Store. By this, Prime Video subscribers can use this new app to play streaming media content, or download content on a Mac to watch offline.

Moreover, Amazon’s new application supports Picture-in-Picture and AirPlay functions, as well as in-app purchases of TV rentals and on-demand content, as well as payment using Amazon’s existing credit cards.

Furthermore, the Amazon Prime Video application can track the content and progress the user is watching so that the user can watch a program on one device and then continue watching on another device. All Amazon Prime content is available through the Mac app. It is compatible with macOS Big Sur 11.4 and later.
