Moreover, in the following some days, the prices of apps and in-app purchases excluding auto-renewable subscriptions in the App Store in the following regions will be increased:

  • Thailand: New 7% VAT for developers outside Thailand

  • Bahamas: Charge a new 12% value-added tax

  • Turkey

Besides, Apple looked out that the developer’s income will be adjusted accordingly, and will be estimated based on the price excluding tax. The section in Appendix B of the Paid App Agreement showing that Apple collects and remits applicable taxes in these regions has been updated.

Furthermore, the “Price and Sales Range” section of “My App” will be renewed instantly. Developers can change the prices of apps and in-app purchases including auto-renewable subscriptions in App Store Connect at any time. If the developer offers subscription items, he can choose to hold the current price for existing subscribers.
