Posted on

Bose launched a new portable Bluetooth speaker SoundLink Flex, with a sturdy exterior design priced at 149 US dollars, comes with an IP67 rating, and a battery life of 12 hours. According to its size, its audio performance is remarkable.

Moreover, SoundLink Flex is 7.9 inches wide approximately 200.66 mm, 3.6 inches high approximately 91.44 mm, 2.1 inches thick approximately 53.34 mm, and weighs slightly more than 1 pound approximately 454 grams. It is very compact and has a built-in utility ring that can be connected to the buckle and is available in three colors black, smoky white, and blue.

Bose says is “the largest that can be accommodated” and can produce “bass that you can feel in your chest.” By using what Bose calls “PositionIQ”, the speaker can detect the direction it is in-upright, hanging or lying down, and adjust the audio output accordingly.

Furthermore, the SoundLink Flex speaker has a silicone back panel and powder-coated steel grille. Bose claims to resist corrosion and resist any discoloration caused by ultraviolet rays. With the IP67 dust-proof and water-repellent rating, you no longer have to worry about falling into the water when swimming, and Bose claims that the speaker will float on the water when it falls into the water.

In addition, SoundLink Flex does not have any special “smart” features, but it can be connected to any Bose smart speaker or Sound Blaster in the home. It can be stereo paired with another SoundLink Flex or different Bose portable speakers. The speaker also has a built-in microphone for answering calls and interacting with the voice assistant on the phone.
