European graphics card costs continue to surge: Report

According to the latest report,  the latest graphics card price statistics in Germany and Austria, and the data is as of October 31st. The graphics card prices reported in the report are limited to models released before March 2021, so the latest AMD RX 6600 series, NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti, and RTX 3080 Ti are not included.

Statistics show that after experiencing the low price of graphics cards from July to August, the price of local graphics cards has slowly increased. Among them, the average price of AMD RX 6000 series graphics cards has once again risen to more than 200% of the official price

The average price of the Nvidia RTX 30 series has also increased to 183% of the official price (MSRP). It can be seen from the curve that the supply of graphics cards is relatively stable, and overall the price of graphics cards and the supply curve have reversed changes.

Moreover, 3DCenter also pointed out that the prices of some graphics card models even appear upside down. The price of AMD Radeon RX 6800/XT is sometimes higher than the flagship RX 6900 XT. In extreme cases, the price of some models such as RTX 3070 Ti is even higher than 2000 euros, and the transaction price of RTX 3090 is sometimes as high as 4029 euros.

Furthermore, the average price of AMD graphics cards has risen by 18%, and the average price of Nvidia graphics cards has risen by 16%. However, this statistical data is limited to two countries in Europe, Germany, and Austria, and the graphics card market in other regions is different.
