Howe officially released the first image sensor with RGBC arrangement for the mobile phone market that is OV32C.

Regarding the details of the image sensor, the single-pixel size of OV32C is 0.7μm, the number of pixels is 32MP, and the optical format is the same as that of OV32B, both of which are 1/3.14”.

Moreover, the output specification of the OV32C is it supports up to 32MP RGBC RAW, and this sensor also maintains an on-chip RGBC to Bayer fusion algorithm, which can output 8MP images at a frame rate of 30fps, without the need for OEM to configure an independent RGBC processing unit.
Furthermore, OV32C also has a low-power mode to achieve an “always-on” function, reduce power consumption and data rate usage.
