Huawei

Global Smart City Conference was held in Shanghai on October 14. Huawei said that more than 50 cities including Fuzhou, Chengdu, Changchun, Nanchang, Shanghai, and Suzhou have successively joined the “urban smart body” The concept, structure, and implementation path of the ranks are constantly being clarified.

According to the latest reports, Huawei’s “urban intelligence” is based on the cloud and takes AI as the core to build an integrated intelligent system with three-dimensional perception, global collaboration, precise judgment, and continuous evolution.

“The core value of’Urban Intelligence’ is to serve citizens, enterprises, and governments, and to save time and manpower for the service targets.” Yue Kun, President of Global Government Business Department of Huawei Enterprise BG, for example, “One Netcom Service is to help citizens run the One thing, one network management is to help the government handle one thing efficiently.”

Moreover, Huawei will implement solutions such as one-network administration for government services in 2020, and this year will further complement and improve the reference architecture of urban intelligent entities, and release three solutions for one-network management, auxiliary operations, and zero-trust security.

Yue Kun said,” one network management system can realize efficient online and offline collaboration by subdividing “handling one thing efficiently” into four centers: discovery, scheduling, disposal, and analysis; auxiliary operations can be understood as “turnkey”, and the solution provider will teach Government departments to use intelligent systems; and zero-trust security is to prevent “administrators” from being untrustworthy, changing data from one person, one authorization to one thing, one authorization. “Zero trust security is based on a simple premise, that is, don’t trust anyone, but trust this system.”

HuaweiFurthermore, Yue Kun has put forward three suggestions for furthering the modernization of urban governance: one is to solve the cross-sectoral problems with prominent contradictions, and gradually promote the unified management of one network; the other is to do a good job in “urban intelligence.” Shift the focus of construction from data aggregation to process optimization; the third is to build a city operation center and do a good job in the integration of construction and operation.
