Intel announced to have 448 EU version and Arc DG2 standalone display

Posted on

According to the recent update to Mesa (open source drivers for OpenGL and Vulkan), Intel confirmed that there is a 448 EU streamlined and dazzling Arc DG2 standalone display.

Recently, Franciso Jerez, a member of the Intel open-source driver team, released a patch that clearly mentions the DG2-448 streamlined chip.

Moreover, this reduced DG2-512 GPU is not the first time it has been exposed. Previously, TUM_APISAK revealed the performance test information of this graphics card, 448EU (3584 stream processor) version, frequency 1.8GHz.

The measured performance of the graphics card is 92% of the AMD RX 6700 XT, which is slightly lower than the Nvidia RTX 3070. In addition, TUM_APISAK also broke the news that this graphics card has an entry version of 128EU (1024 stream processor) with a frequency of 1.9GHz and higher performance than GTX 1650.

Furthermore, the revealer Moore’s Law is Dead recently released a new video on YouTube, exposing for the first time the real front camera of Intel Xe HPG Arc Alchemist, as well as the side and back panel. This revealer not only owns a 512 EU version of the graphics card but also has a 128EU version with a single fan.

Besides, the PCB structure of this graphics card is similar to that of Nvidia or AMD’s game graphics cards. The front of the graphics card uses a silver casing and is equipped with two fans. After removing the backplane, you can see the large-area heat sink at the end of the graphics card, as well as the  8-pin and 6-pin power supply ports on the side.
