MediaTek announced the development of its first chip which has been crafted with the use of TSMC’s cutting-edge 3nm processing technology. No doubt, the manufacturer will align this creation with the flagship Dimensity processors.
As per the revealings, MediaTek has packed its first 3nm chip with many essential techs to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. On the greener side, the 3nm process technology is capable of an 18% speed rate with the same power input as its predecessors.
Besides, the chip flourishes 60% increment in logic density. Other than that, the company has revealed a promising partnership with TSMC. The two firms are teaming up to produce a top-of-the-line chip that ensures better functioning.
The President of MediaTek – Joe Chen said the following words:
“We are committed to our vision of using the world’s most advanced technology to create cutting-edge products that improve our lives in meaningful ways.”
In terms of mass production, the company said that the chip will enter the device world including smartphones, tablets, and smart cars in 2024.
