MediaTek will alter the price of 4G/5G mobile phone chips: Report 

According to the latest report, due to the strong demand in emerging markets and the increased momentum in downstream pull after the epidemic, MediaTek raised its quotations for its most important mobile phone chips this month, with the highest increase of 15%.

Moreover, some revealers in the semiconductor industry have confirmed that MediaTek has indeed raised the price of mobile phone chips recently, among which 4G chips have increased significantly.

According to market sources, MediaTek’s 4G mobile phone chips will increase by about 10-15%, which is better than the 5-10% estimated by foreign investment, and 5G chips will increase by about 5%. But, MediaTek did not respond to market rumors.

According to the previous news, MediaTek will launch the first 4nm 5G flagship chip using TSMC at the end of the year. Compared with rival Qualcomm, which is expected to be launched in the second quarter of next year, MediaTek has an advantage in supply time.
