Micron introduced a GDDR6 memory for AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards

Micron announced that its high-performance 16Gb/16Gbps GDDR6 memory solution is now available for AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards.

According to reports, this latest GDDR6 uses Micron’s 1z process technology to provide up to 512GB/s performance for demanding applications such as games and graphics.

As the requirements for graphics and gaming applications are getting higher and higher, the requirements for high-bandwidth video memory and system performance are getting higher and higher.

Moreover, modern gamers require a high-resolution, immersive experience, and GDDR6 supports fast frame rates to achieve excellent performance and speed, minimize latency and provide gamers with realistic effects.

Furthermore, AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards equipped with Micron GDDR6 memory will start with AMD Radeon RX 6600 series and Radeon RX 6700 series graphics cards and are expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2021.
