Microsoft’s Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration will be held on November 16

Microsoft announced on the official Xbox Wire blog that the Xbox 20th Anniversary Celebration will be held on November 16.

Will Tuttle, Chief Editor of Microsoft Xbox Wire, said: “I am very happy to commemorate this milestone with everyone. We want to celebrate some of our favorite moments of Xbox over the past 20 years. It is very interesting to recall the stories shared in the Xbox community over the years.”

Will Tuttle also stated in the article that before the anniversary live broadcast, Microsoft will hold an Xbox FanFest special event at 2 pm (Pacific time) on November 13th local time as a pre-anniversary live broadcast.

Moreover, in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary, Microsoft is updating the membership badges in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold member profiles and changing them to the color version. The new color version of the membership badge will be officially released next week. 

Regarding what else to expect from this anniversary live broadcast, CNET said that Microsoft had stated earlier that it would not release any new games on this anniversary live broadcast.
