Motorola brings satellite two-way messaging support to your phone

Motorola is bringing a dynamic upgrade for every brand’s phone in the form of a satellite two-way messaging device. Yes, the company has released a new Defy Satellite Link that will let you connect to text messages and emergency SOS services, without high-end network facilities.

Satellite Connectivity is the upcoming future in the technology world. On the greener side, Apple has initiated the functionality with the iPhone 14 series. While other tech giants are also trying to surf in this wave, Motorola has offered a super-effective satellite two-way messaging upgrade for every handset.

So far, the manufacturer already mentioned this facility at the MWC 2023 event. However, it’s time to get this tweak in reality. As the name suggests, when you will connect the Defy Link to your phone via Bluetooth, you would be able to send or receives texts through the Bullitt Satellite Messenger app.

Besides, if you will text to a regular cellphone user, it will appear as a standard SMS. This means that the other party doesn’t require a satellite link to respond to the message. Showing the details officially, Motorola marks the following words:

“No cell coverage? No problem. Switch to satellite!
