MSI announced a ATX water-cooled motherboard MPG Z690 Carbon EK X D-RGB developed with water-cooling brand EK
With the release of Intel’s 12th-generation processors, various motherboard manufacturers have also introduced a variety of motherboards that match them. Today, MSI officially launched its new ATX water-cooled motherboard MPG Z690 Carbon EK X D-RGB jointly developed with the water-cooling brand EK. In addition to the motherboard body, MSI also includes an EK brand water leakage tester.
Moreover, this motherboard is based on the MSI Carbon motherboard and uses the Intel Z690 chipset. The entire motherboard is designed with carbon fiber patterns. The size of the motherboard is 30.5cm x 24.4cm. The biggest feature of this motherboard is that the CPU and its surrounding power supply positions and an M.2 solid-state slot cover the Quantum water-cooled heat sink of EK to enhance heat dissipation.

Furthermore, The motherboard adopts the LGA 1700 specification slot, provides an 18+1+1 power supply (75A current, supports dual 8-pin CPU power supply). Supports 4 DDR5 memory with a maximum total of 128GB, 3 PCI-E X16 slots, 6 SATA3 interfaces, and a total of 5 M.2 slots.
Besides, the motherboard can now be ordered through EK and MSI official channels. The official price given by MSI is 599 Euros (approximately RMB 4,446) and will be officially launched in December this year.
