OLED demand is strong than LCD in smartphone panel market

Posted on

Starting the fourth quarter, the market demand for smartphone panels is still showing a clear trend of differentiation. The increase in the price of some parts and components drives up the cost of the whole device, which keeps the low-end demand again, which causes the low-end market to continue to shrink in the short term, and the demand for LCD panels weakens; OLED panels remain strong under the high demand for iPhone.

On the supply side, the effective supply of panels is showing a trend of steady growth. At the same time, panel makers are actively optimizing their product strategies, including capacity allocation and price strategies, so as to achieve better returns.
