Qualcomm’s next flagship SoC could be Snapdragon 895/898, based on TSMC’s 4nm process
Qualcomm is developing a chip code-named SM8450’Waipio, which will be the successor to Snapdragon 888 (SM8350). The Snapdragon 895/898 reportedly uses TSMC’s 4nm process and is equipped with an X65 baseband.
Compared with Snapdragon 888, the new SoC will have a stronger 5G integrated baseband while supporting millimeter wave or Sub-6GHz 5G networks.

The tipster @evleaks announced some information about this new product today. SM8450 is Qualcomm’s next-generation SoC, which integrates the Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system. It is manufactured using a 4nm process.
In addition, its GPU is an upgrade from Adreno 660 to Adreno 730. Considering that this is Qualcomm, it is expected that there will be a considerable improvement.
Its DSP is upgraded from Spectra 580 to Spectra 680, and the FastConnect 6900 subsystem will support Bluetooth LE Audio/5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E.
