Rostec named Smartecosystem recently launched a smartphone named AYYA T1. The smartphone has a mechanical switch on the side to turn off its camera and microphone. It also has a special LED light installed on the phone to indicate to the user when the camera is turned on.
Moreover, the Russian Ministry of Defense and Rostec have reached an agreement to test 500 devices. If the test goes well, the Russian Ministry of Defense will order 500,000 AYYA T1s for its internal use.
