Moreover, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade told the newspaper that the government supports the initiative, and the ministry is currently planning to create an industrial software platform that will allow Russian companies to purchase autonomous and controllable CAD software on the platform.

Baikal Electronics, a major Russian chip design company, also holds a positive attitude towards this initiative, which will help save project development time and resources. However, some industry experts have pointed out that the number of manufacturers engaged in IP design in Russia is limited, and there are inherent differences between enterprises.

Moreover, there is a  close relationship and no new platform connection is required. In addition, Russian manufacturers often repeat the practice of developing the same functional IP for different government projects, resulting in insufficient resources for trading.
