Samsung may use more LG batteries in entry-level and high-end models
According to the latest report, Samsung is looking to use LG batteries in entry-level and high-end smartphones. This isn’t the first time Samsung has relied on LG for key smartphone components.

There are reports that Samsung’s mobile division is considering buying batteries from LG Energy Solutions for the Galaxy A and Galaxy M phones. Samsung has been using LG batteries since 2019, including some models of the best-selling Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series.
Moreover, the source pointed out that the batteries supplied by LG to Samsung may be produced at the Nanjing factory. The products will be transferred to ITM Semiconductor’s Vietnam factory, where they will be packaged and assembled with protection circuits, before being sent to Samsung’s smartphone factory.
