Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is currently in preparation mode, but it has already gathered all attention after appearing in a recent Geekbench listing. Besides, the details reveal how impressively the chipset is performing over its predecessors.
The story begins when a new Nubia phone which could be the Red Magic 9 model showed up on the Geekbench with Android 14, 12GB RAM, and the dynamic Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Notably, the device gained 1596 points under single-core and 5977 points in multi-core testing.
On the other hand, a Weibo tipster named DigitalChatStation also listed the details on his handle describing that these scores may vary from the final unit. Although the main spotlight of the entire news has been the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
According to the inputs, the upcoming processor will have 1 x 3.19GHzX4 + 5×2.96GHz A720+ 2×2.27GHz A520 and Adreno 750 GPU. Meanwhile, it will uproot TSMC’s N4P processing technology.
The official statements on the chipset matter are still missing. Perhaps, we need to wait till October, when the company will bring the ultimate product to the launch stage.
