Snapdragon 898 flagship chip may arrive on Snapdragon tech submit 2021: Report

Qualcomm’s official website launched the 2021 Snapdragon Technology Summit page, which will be held from November 30 to December 2, 2021.

At present, the official website only announced the date of the summit, and said that “more information will be released soon.” However, according to previous warm-ups and revelations, Qualcomm Snapdragon’s next-generation flagship chip-SM8450 tentatively called Snapdragon 898 will be launched at the summit.

Moreover,  the Snapdragon 898 chip is expected to use Samsung’s 4nm process, with a new dual Part 3400 architecture, and equipped with Adreno 730 GPU. In addition, the Snapdragon 898 chip has a total of eight cores. The base frequency shown in the list is 1.79GHz. Mass production and frequency increase will increase performance while increasing power consumption.

At present, manufacturers that have the opportunity to release or even launch a new generation of Snapdragon flagship platforms in the first batch include Samsung, Lenovo, Motorola, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo, OPPO, etc. Mobile phones equipped with Snapdragon 898 chips are expected to be launched years ago.

Furthermore, the revealer exposed device is equipped with the Snapdragon 898 chip, showing that it is provided with the SM8450 chip. The core frequencies are 1 x 3.0GHz, 3 x 2.50GHz, 4 x 1.79GHz, and the GPU is Adreno730.
