Toyota stated that the “home power supply system” consists of battery units, DC/DC converters, hybrid power modulators, vehicle power supply adapters, special connecting lines, and other components. The system uses Toyota battery control and other electric power.
This mechanism also promotes the use of solar energy, a renewable energy source. At the same time, Toyota’s “home power supply system” can also meet the power supply requirements provided by electric vehicles (HEV, PHEV, BEV, FCEV) AC100V, and use the electricity stored in electric vehicles as a home backup power supply in the event of a power outage.
In addition, Toyota’s “home power supply system” can also download a dedicated application, users can remotely operate on a smartphone or tablet terminal through the network, and perform operations such as real-time power storage confirmation and operating mode settings.
