WeChat: Managing the vulgar live broadcast mode of the video account’s

WeChat Security Center issued the “Announcement on the Governance of the Live Broadcasting Behavior of Video Accounts “No Lower Limit”. Furthermore,  the WeChat security team discovers violations through daily active inspections, model identification, and user complaint acceptance, and continuously collect new and typical violation cases to cover new violations with changing gameplay and unimaginable routines.

Besides, the announcement also pointed out that some anchors have been evading platform audits and fighting against platform attacks. For example, when performing illegal performances, they put the camera far away, turned sideways, or only received silent pictures, their accounts were blocked, or after the current limit, the number will be changed and the broadcast will start. Once the host is found to have the above-mentioned malicious confrontation, the platform will strengthen its punishment.
