WhatsApp new UWP version is released

The new UWP version of WhatsApp has been put on the Microsoft Store and is now available. Aggiornamenti Lumia recently released a new UWP preview version of WhatsApp, based on UWP native development, rather than the previous Electron web technology.

Moreover, the native UWP version of WhatsApp starts quickly. Some UIs are still Win10 angular styles, but they also use Win11 Mica styles, so it can be found that it has been developed for a while, and it is under continuous development.

Furthermore, the UWP version of WhatsApp supports text messages, voice, video, and a drawing function that allows Windows Ink users to draw images and share them within WhatsApp.

Besides, the  UWP version of WhatsApp supports background operation, and you can receive message notifications after closing the foreground interface. While the setting interface of the UWP version of WhatsApp contains multiple options such as general, account, chat, notification, etc.

However, the UWP version of WhatsApp was exposed two years ago, but there has been no actual evidence, and it is not clear when the App will be launched.
