How to install the One UI 5 beta on the Samsung Galaxy smartphones

Samsung has officially started rolling out the first Android 13-based One UI 5 beta build. The Android 13 beta program is now available for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy A52 users. The beta update will be available for more devices very soon.

How to register and install the Android 13-based One UI 5 beta?

You can easily register for the first One UI 5.0 beta build using the Samsung Members app, you can get this app from Galaxy Store or Google Play store. After successful installation, go for the fresh Samsung account registration (if you don’t have an active account). After the successful login, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Samsung Members app and search for the “One UI Beta Program” banner (Or select notice and Registration for One UI Beta Program).
  2. Found it? Now tap on it and register.
  3. Give your permission by tapping Enroll and then Agree.
  4. Congratulations, you are now enrolled in the beta program.
  5. Close the app and open device Settings.
    1. You can easily open Settings by swiping down from the top of your device and selecting the gear icon.
  6. Scroll down and select the Software update option.
  7. Final steps, tap on the Download and install button.

You now have One UI 5.0 beta installed on your Galaxy smartphone. You can also submit bug reports and feedback using the Samsung Members app.

The One UI 5.0 beta update comes with several new features, some notable features are Optical Character Recognition, new color themes, new notification layout, improved DeX and Digital Wellbeing, additional Bixby feature, improved accessibility features, and a new security dashboard.
