Last month, Samsung introduced its newer Galaxy S21 series flagships which include three premium phones – Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21. These smartphones come pre-installed with the latest version of One UI, One UI 3.1.
The Korean tech giant has totally revamped the user interface with the One UI 3.0. On the other hand, One UI 3.1 is an upgraded version of the One UI 3.0 that brings some new features and enhancements. One of the major camera functions that come with the Galaxy S21 phones is “Director’s view”.

“Director’s view” allows the Galaxy S21 users to capture video from all camera lenses of the device at the same time. Moreover, the Galaxy S21 Ultra lets simultaneously access all four camera angles in the viewfinder, and you can switch between them seamlessly.
What is Director’s view: Produce videos with seamless transitions between multiple camera angles. Dual record from both front and rear cameras and enable multi-capture with Picture-in-picture or Split view.
Here’s how to use Director’s view:
- From Camera, swipe to More, and then tap Director’s view.
- Tap View type to switch between Single, Picture-in-picture, and Split views.
- Tap Record.
- Center the camera on your subject and tap one of the available windows to change lenses.
- Tap the up-side arrow if the windows are not visible.
- To switch between the front and rear cameras, swipe the screen up or down.
- Center the camera on your subject and tap one of the available windows to change lenses.
- Tap Stop when you are finished recording.
