Samsung is currently providing the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 firmware update for its numerous eligible devices. So far, the Galaxy S20, Note 20, Z Flip, Z Fold 2, Note 10, and S10 series devices have updated to the latest One UI 3.0.
One UI 3.0 is built on Android 11 which brings several new features such as chat bubbles, better privacy controls, notification history, and more. This version also comes with a renewed user interface that directly reflects on the Settings menu, quick panel, home screen, and more.
Samsung One UI 3.1: Private Share Function
Recently, we’ve talked about the new Eye Comfort Shield feature which comes with One UI 3.1 for Galaxy S21 devices. And now, we have information about another feature that will come with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1.

With the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung introduced a new tool that protects and monitors the privacy of users. The One UI 3.1 adds a new “Private Share” function that allows Samsung device owners to safely remove location metadata from photos before sharing.
Furthermore, with the One UI 3.1’s all-new Private Share feature, you can also control who gets access to the content you send, and how long it’s available so you can share content worry-free. However, this function only works between Samsung smartphones with Android 9 Pie or later.

Till now, the South Korean tech firm has not informed anything about the update rollout plan and eligible devices for the latest One UI 3.1. We can expect, the compatible devices will soon start getting this new version of One UI with new and improved features.
