Xiaomi MIUI 12’s another feature – Universal Casting Tool, which allows users to cast device screen on smart TVs and PCs.While casting functionality was also present in previous versions of Xiaomi’s custom skin, the MIUI 12 update has added some enhancements to the feature.

Users can now hide private things from displaying by tapping particularly. In addition, multitasking is now enabled with universal casting tools. However, many users who updated their devices with MIUI 12 don’t know how to use it. So, let us know how to enable it.

How to enable the casting feature?

To enable this option, you can follow the steps mentioned below:

• Open “settings“.
• Click on “Connection and Sharing” option
• Tap on the “Cast” option.
• Once enabled, it will search for nearby devices that can be used to insert the phone’s screen.
• Then, connect to the device.

Note: Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network in order to use the universal casting tool.
