Xiaomi is seeding the remaining Redmi devices with the optimizations and fixes of the May 2023 MIUI update in India. On the flip side, the firm has also begun the June 2023 security patch rollout for some eligible devices and the remaining will also collect it in the coming weeks.
As per the information, a total of 3 Redmi devices are grabbing the May 2023 security update in India namely the Redmi 10C, Redmi Note 11 SE, and Redmi Note 10S. Therefore, the particular firmware will improve the core mechanism of the device and make them more safe and secure.
The latest firmware for the Redmi 10C device has arrived with the MIUI build version V13.0.5.0.SGEINXM. Whereas, the Redmi Note 11 SE and Note 10S users are grabbing it via V14.0.3.0.TKLINXM. Consequently, the firmware further carries an installation package of around 3.0 Gigabytes.
Moving on, the latest firmware provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain protected. It will further increase the safety grades of your smartphone and offer a more optimized performance, along with an elevated user experience.
Furthermore, the update is hovering in India via the OTA medium. As a result, it will take some hours or days to approach all the eligible units. - Go to the Settings app
- Select the About Phone section
- Tap on System Updates
- Press on the MIUI version, to fetch latest update
- Click the Download & Install tab
