Samsung has already released the October 2020 security patch for the Galaxy Note 20 series. Furthermore, the device reportedly receiving another software update that brings battery improvements to the latest Galaxy Note flagships.
This update also improves Dark mode and Camera enhancements for better user experience. The latest software update is currently rolling out in Germany and should soon be available to other regions.

The software version of this update is N986BXXU1ATJ1 and N981BXXU1ATJ1 for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 respectively.
If you have the Galaxy Note 20 device in the region and want to check for the update manully, just head into the device Settings, go for the System update menu and tap on the Download and install option.
