Android 11-based July 2021 security update releasing for POCO X3
Xiaomi is sending an Android 11 update for POCO X3 users in India. It comes with a bunch of new features and optimizations to enhance the device performance.

The new update is also improving the system security by installing the latest Android patch released in July 2021. It brings new gestures to the open the control center and new animations for screen light up.
POCO X3 Android 11 update optimizes GPS icon in the status bar, UI for renaming fingerprints, press and hold redirection options, and readjusted sensitive areas for the dots in the unlock pattern as well as it renamed GPS toggle as “Location”.

Here’s how to check for updates manually
- From the Home Screen swipe down.
- Tap on Settings icon.
- Select About phone.
- Hit on MIUI version menu.
- Finally, click on Download update
