On September 8, 2020, Google announced the eleventh major generation of the Android operating system. The Android 11 comes with several system improvements and new features such as conversation bubbles, better privacy controls, notification history, one-time permissions for apps, and much more.
Following the announcement, Google started delivering the stable Android 11 update for the Pixel smartphones. Apart from the Google Pixels, several OEM’s including Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, and more have begun beta testing with their custom skins.
It is worth mentioning that several smartphone makers are still sending the Android 11 update to their devices. Meanwhile, we’re already started hearing about the next version of the Android operating system, Android 12. And, It is expected that Google will release the first developers’ preview of Android 12 in later February or March this year.
So, it’s a good time that we start the discussion about this upcoming Android version and keep ourselves up to date with its latest news, beta rollouts, announcements, and more.
