According to the latest information, a new code submission to the Google Material Component Library, titled “Add a list of manufacturers that support dynamic colors”, revealed the list of manufacturers that will support dynamic system themes.
Following are the manufacturer that will support this theme feature:
- Oppo
- Realme
- OnePlus
- Vivo
- Xiaomi
- Motorola
- Itel
- Tecno Mobile
- Infinix
- HMD Global (makers of Nokia-branded Android devices)
- Sharp
- Sony
- TCL
- Lenovo
- Roboelectric.
This is interesting. The source code for Monet (Android 12's wallpaper-based theme system) will be released with Android 12L, but based on this code change for the Material Components library, it looks like a bunch of OEMs are implementing dynamic color support themselves. https://t.co/Oufh9zxDnZ pic.twitter.com/9obGYbbMDC

In addition, developer Kieron Quinn pointed out more information on Twitter. Check it below.
Guess this answers the question from the space the other day of who'll support it. Slightly disappointed it's a hardcoded list and not something exposed in the framework like a property though, as if an OEM adds (or worse drops) support every app will need to update to catch up.

There’s one surprising thing, Samsung wasn’t on the list, the company already supports Android 12’s dynamic color theming in One UI 4.0 Beta build.
