Android 14 beta 2 is rolling out for Pixel devices with a huge list of fixes alongside some incredible features. Yes! While the update changelog doesn’t reveal much input on the new addition, here we have some points that reflect what new changes are taking place with the latest build.
Yes! Android 14 beta 2 features don’t have a huge impact on the device. They are simple yet excellent and make the overall user interface more intuitive and convenient. Besides, these changes enhance the experience of consumers with their handsets.
So without any further ado, let’s begin the exploration!
1. Languages and Input decouples as ‘Languages’ and ‘Keyboard’
You might have discovered Languages and Input while changing the dialect of an application or using a different kind of keyboard. However, the tech giant has revamped this aspect and split the section into two separate windows Languages and Keyboard.
2. Font Size Quick Settings tile
As of now, you can change the font size of tiles that are present in the Quick Settings menu. Users can choose 6 options to change the font size in the tiles.
3. New Trash Icon
Yes! Now there is a new icon for trash or bin in the App Info section. Earlier, the icon showed a lining structure. But in the latest edition, the trash icon appears in a plain texture.
4. No line separation in app info
Previously, while long pressing on the icon, the device enables a small app info window with line spacing. But with Android 14 beta 2, the tech giant has skipped that layout and features the text in plain space.
Other than this, you will find changes as new animation for the Wallpaper & Style section, and long-press on app icons. In addition, there is a new Security and Privacy icon.
