Gmail is a web-based free email service app designed by Google. A few weeks ago, it started picking the new update. But in the meantime, the update for Gmail on Android reduced the size of the widgets.
Gmail has over 2 billion users across the globe, which clearly shows its popularity. And to continue its admiration Google constantly sends the update to enhance the user’s experience. But this time it seems like the new changes are affecting the comfort level of the users.
Last week, Google started rolling out an update for Gmail on Android devices. The update was appearing with version number 2022.08.21.x and now it is widely available on the Play Store too.
This upgrade shrinks the size of the Material You widgets and the archive button that is present in the top right corner. Also, now it becomes difficult for the users to read the texts properly with the very small size. It also puts stress on the eyes of the users.
Furthermore, those who might be liking the new look of the Material You theme could now end up liking it after this update.
We hope that the issue resolves soon and provides a better experience. Moreover, we can expect that the company could fix this issue with the next patch and bring convenience to its users.
