Apple is gearing up to launch the next version of its operating system for iPhone and iPad models, therefore, a recent report suggests that the iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 software feature visionOS-inspired design. It means users can expect to get a reimagined user interface alongside various new features and optimizations.
According to the information of The Verifier, Apple is planning to make a big change in the user interface of iPhones and iPads, by bringing the elements from the visionOS operating system of the Vision Pro glasses into the iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 updates, to offer refined and more intuitive experience.
To be mentioned, VisionOS is the operating system that comes preinstalled on Apple’s first headset device the Vision Pro. The report suggests that the Apple TV app on iPadOS 18 will feature the same translucent navigation bar that was introduced in the tvOS 17.2 version of the app last year.
The design of this menu draws similarities to visionOS, the operating system that runs on Apple’s new Vision Pro headset. In addition, Apple also plans to redesign various other system menus and built-in apps on iOS 18. So be ready to enjoy a whole new interface with various prominent features and capabilities.
