Apple released a new update for its COVID-19 app in the United States

Apple released a new app this year to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and also inform users to stay safe in the United States. The COVID-19 app is recently updated to version 5.0 by Apple with some improvements and new recommendations.

The update brings new advice on how to avoid the spread of the coronavirus. It also adds new questions to determine the symptoms of the disease.

Apple has collaborated with CDC1, the Coronavirus Task Force, and FEMA to provide its users with relevant information on coronavirus. By answering some questions users can discover if they are infected by the virus.

This update includes bug fixes and improvements, including:

• Updated recommendations and new questions for symptom severity and COVID-19 test results

Users can download the COVID-19 app from the App Store for free and it is available for users who are 18 years or older. Other than the app users can also access Apple’s COVID-19 tool from its website.
