Apple is bringing the watchOS Track Detection feature to users residing in France and Netherlands. The feature is currently in access to only a limited number of users. However, the tech maker will soon release it in other parts of Europe.

Consequently, Apple is cooking a new watchOS version in its kitchen with some ultimate features. But that didn’t stop the company to serve new benefits to its smartwatch users. In the present scenario, the company is pushing the Apple watchOS Track Detection feature to more consumers across the world.

What is Track Detection Feature? As the name reflects, the respective element helps in detecting the lane of a track you’re running or walking on. For doing so, the system combines data from GPS and Apple Maps.

Through the Workout application, you can choose the track you are stepping on, and can eventually receive more accurate distance parameters. Further, it pops a detailed route map that helps you to remain on the right track.

On the flip side, you can also opt for lap notifications that show distance, time, and speed as you finish one lap. Notably, the tech giant introduced this feature last year in the US and began rolling it out in Canada, Australia, Italy, and the UK in February 2023.
