The company has rolled out a new software update for the Galaxy S20, S20 +, and S20 Ultra devices, which brings the April 2021 security patch. Significantly, Samsung recently revealed April  2021’s One UI security bulletin, which stated several bug fixes for Galaxy devices.

Currently in some European markets, including Germany, the 4G model of the Galaxy S20 series has implemented new security updates. Since it is released in phases, you will have to wait until the company reaches firmware availability to more regions, and is expected to launch soon.

Except for the April 2021 patch, this new Galaxy S20 update brings no system optimizations or features. At the same time, OEMs recently released a massive software update, including a large number of new camera features, such as ultra-wide camera support in portrait mode, night hyper-lapse, and more.

Samsung has released One UI 3.0 and One UI 3.1 updates based on Galaxy S20 series smartphones worldwide. The company hopes to release the next version of the One UI in the third quarter of this year alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Although the Galaxy S20 model is listed to use One UI 4.0 for the Android 12 update, they will also receive the One UI 3.5 version in the third quarter of 2021.
