Asus ROG Phone 3 getting Android 12 update with June 2022 patch

Asus has made the announcement to add the Android 12 to one of their Gaming series smartphone Asus ROG Phone 3. This is the series developed by the company for gamers and the One who loves playing games. The company named this series the ROG phone and has launched 5 phones to date.

According to recent reports, the company has finally added Android 12 to ROG Phone 3 to provide their users with the best gaming experience. The Android 12 for ROG Phone 3 brings many new features along with the rebuilding of many applications the changelog for the updated ROG Phone 3 is as follows:-

  • Upgraded the system to Android 12.
  • Rebuilt many apps such as Mobile Manager, Contacts, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Settings, Weather, Sound Recorder, and System update app.
  • Updates the Console design in Armoury Crate.
  • Replaced the Safeguard with Android 12 Emergency SOS.
  • Introduced new widget page design in Launcher. Adjusted the position of the screenshot option and removed the hot seat app icons on the Overview page.
  • Removed the Quick Settings layout option in the Display settings.
  • ASUS Phone removed SIP calling support as Android 12 does not natively support SIP calling.
  • Some 3rd party apps are not compatible with Android 12 yet.

The company doesn’t mention the Third-party apps that do not have the support of Android 12 along with the release of this June update which is going to release with this update.

How to install it:-

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Head to the Systems and Updates section
  • Now tap on check for updates.
  • If available click on Download and Install it.
