Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S22 grabs August 2023 One UI patch in the US

Samsung is rolling out the perks of the August 2023 Android security patch for the consumers of Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in the US. Installing this new firmware will ensure that the system is up-to-date and protected with the most recent security protocols and technology enhancements.

In addition, the patch addresses over 70 exploits and vulnerabilities to maintain the utmost protection. Users will also notice fixes in some common bugs and glitches to reduce the risk of system crashes and data loss. Last but not least, this new firmware will also improve the device’s core mechanism and optimize overall performance.

Simultaneously, the August 2023 security patch is currently rolling out for the carrier-locked models of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra via the One UI build version S901USQU3CWGI, S906USQU3CWGI, and S909USQU3CWGI respectively in the US.

Consequently, the consumers will need to install a massive package of around 2.3GB to enjoy refinements and fixes of the latest patch. To download the update manually visit Settings app > Tap on Software Update menu > Hit Download & Install tab.
