The month of May is about to wrap up, and Samsung is now seeding the remaining models with the advancements of the latest security patch at a great speed. However, the fixes and improvements of the May 2023 security update are currently rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 devices in the US.
The May 2023 security patch is a regular monthly firmware that aims to improve the overall stability of the system and make your big-screen devices more safe and secure. It further enriches the reliability by improving the core mechanism and resolves some common bugs and issues, that may have been found in the system.
The patch further offers improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Simultaneously, the May 2023 update also mentions fixes for a total of 70 exploits including over 40 common vulnerability exposures and 21 Samsung vulnerability exposures.
Moving on, the consumers of Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will be able to identify the May 2023 security update via the One UI build version T878USQU3DWE3 and T978USQU3DWE3 respectively in the US. Accordingly, the patch is currently live for carrier-locked models, however, the other network users will also collect it soon.
Thus, if you are in the US and operating the locked Galaxy Tab S7 big-screen device, then upgrade it to the latest version as soon as you receive the update notification.
