Following the Andriod 12 release back in October, OPPO started releasing the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 upgrade internal test recruitment for its eligible devices.

Now, the company has started the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 open beta recruitment for the OPPO Ace2 and Ace2 EVA Limited Edition. The recruitment time is from November 29 to November 30th at 16:00.

Must read before registration:

• The closed beta version of the upgrade is still in the development stage, its effect is not officially running as stable version, version may be some Bug, abnormal power consumption, and other issues. If you are looking for long-term stable use of mobile phones, please register carefully. ​​
• Please be sure to back up your important personal data before the upgrade to avoid data loss due to incompatibility or other circumstances after the upgrade. ​​
• There are still many commonly used third-party applications that are not compatible with Android 12. Therefore, there may be situations where third-party applications cannot be used normally after the upgrade (such as flashbacks, freezes, black screens, power consumption, etc.).

It is recommended that you restart the phone after charging for 2 hours after the upgrade, or after a period of normal use, it will recover by itself.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Please make sure that your mobile phone version has been upgraded to the basic version. (How to check the version number: Settings> About phone> Version information> Version number).
2. Then, click the “Settings> Software Update> Settings button in the upper right corner> Upgrade early adopters> Upgrade public beta” on your phone, and then apply according to the prompts.
