OnePlus is currently sending the latest Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 update for its eligible smartphones with a bunch of added new features and improvements. The OnePlus 8 phones have recently received the OxygenOS 11 beta 7, while the OnePlus 8T series users have started to get the Open Beta from last week itself.
The company is now rolling out a new OxygenOS 11 Open Beta update for the OnePlus 8 and 8T users that brings a bunch of bug fixes and optimizations for these devices for a better user experience. The OnePlus 8T is getting the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2, while the OnePlus 8 series is receiving the Open Beta 8.
This firmware brings various new fixes and enhancements which optimizes the speed of some apps and it also fixes the issue of WhatsApp for which the users were unable to get messages while the app was running in the background.

Furthermore, the update also comes with many other fixes that can be noticed in the Camera, Gallery, Bluetooth, Messages, and many other options. There are some issue fixes for the Ambient display, WiFi connectivity issue, and Zen mode. You can also check the complete changelog of the betas below.

- Fixed the issue in which pictures are not displayed in the Gallery after they are copied to the DCIM category
- Fixed the issue that the Nearby Share button may disappear when using Google Photos
Bluetooth
- Fixed the issue that the SCENARIO-BASED ENHANCEMENT switch is not displayed in the settings when OnePlus Buds is connected to the phone
- Fixed the issue that the device cannot be searched by other Bluetooth devices
Message
- Fixed the issue of the incomplete dialog box displayed in landscape mode
- Fixed known issues with the SMS to improve functional stability (OP8 series only)
Clock
- Improved the touch range of stopwatch buttons and improved the user experience
Ambient Display
- Fixed the issue in which the AOD displays the wrong time sequence after setting up some languages as system languages
- Fixed the issue with AOD that the screen may flash when unlocking with fingerprint
- Fixed the issue with AOD that the screen may display red in some scenes
- Fixed the issue of blurred lines in AOD

- Fixed the failure issue with Wi-Fi
