OnePlus has now started to roll out OxygenOS 10.3.6 update for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. This OxygenOS version brings September 2020 Security patch and improvements for system stability as well as some bug fixes.
Back in July, OnePlus 6 and 6T devices received OxygenOS 10.3.5 with optimizations for RAM, support for OnePlus Buds, fixes for issues, a July security patch, and an update for the GMS package.

This OxygenOS update for OnePlus 6 and 6T is rolling out in phases and it will currently be received by a limited number of users. While the update will progress to more users in a few days after OnePlus makes sure that there are no critical bugs found in the update.
Note:
- Back up your data before update
- Make sure there is enough battery and charge your device when updating your device to the latest version.
- Update using a stable Wi-Fi network.

- Go to Settings
- System
- System updates
- Check for updates
- DOWNLOAD&INSTALL NOW
How to update OnePlus 6 and 6T via Manually:
- Download the updated software build from the OnePlus website
- Go to Settings
- System
- System updates
- Click on the Settings icon on the top right corner
- Click on Local upgrade
- Find .zip file
- Click Install to confirm
- It takes about one minute (may vary) to update
- Once updated, reboot your device to experience the latest OyxgenOS update
