Huawei Mate 40 series is the latest flagship lineup that comes with many high-end features along and pre-installed with the latest EMUI 11.
Previously Huawei has released an update for Huawei Mate 40 which improved the fingerprint experience and now the company is releasing the latest firmware for the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design. (Via – Huawei Central).
This latest update for the Huawei Mate 40 series brings the WeChat Pay function to the Huawei smart payment support list. In addition, it also improves system stability for an enhanced user experience. Users can identify this update with the EMUI version 11.0.0.160 SP1 which is upgraded from 11.0.0.155.

How to update:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
